These are super easy, yummy, gluten free treats.
Ingredients:
1 butternut squash, preferably with a long stem (less bulbous part with seeds)
Tomato sauce (tomato paste and bone broth with spices is great)
cheese and other toppings
Preheat the oven to 400.
Slice squash into 1/8th in slices. Leave peel on, because it is annoying to peel when raw.
Place on greased or non-stick baking pan.
Cook for about 20 minutes — until fairly soft.
Flip slices over, pour sauce, toppings and cheese on them, and put them back in for about 5 more minutes.
Remove from oven, slice of skin, and eat!
Note: these won’t be crunchy, but they hold together well.
