Easy, tasty, healthy snack.

1 cup Dried garbanzo beans
1 cup Dried black-eyed peas
Optionally mix in 1/3c small white beans too

Rinse beans a few times, then soak beans overnight. Rinse several more times. Cook with optional bone broth until soft. You’ll now have about 4 cups of beans, enough for two cuisinart batches.

Put in cuisinart:
2 cups cooked beans
1 tbsp olive oil (with vitamin E — look on nutrition label. Napa Naturals has it. This means it really was cold-pressed.)
1 lemon’s juice
Pinch of paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
Optional 1/2 tsp black cumin seed
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp tahini
bean broth from cooking beans as extra liquid if needed.

Freezes well.
