Adaped from Nourishing Traditions:

About 1 lb. of grass-fed organic (or better) beef (or other ground meat)
1 onion
4 carrots
1 stalk celery
1/2 fennel bulb
1/2 cup additional vegetables (broccoli, kale, etc)
2 tbsp grass-fed tallow (or butter, lard or coconut oil
3 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon thyme or provence mix
2 cups cooked rice (cook in extra water and drain extra water)
1 cup bone broth
1 egg

Soak rice in bone broth.
Chop all vegies very small (a vitamix can do this) and saute in tallow with spices.
Mix all ingredients in pan. Will fill a 9×11 baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 90 minutes.
